1985

Jessica was born into a loving family in Marlboro, New Jersey. Her mother, Melissa, and her father, Vito, both worked in downtown New York City. They had very busy lives but always put family first. They soon welcomed a second daughter, Katie.

1989

Jessica’s family went from the bright lights of New York City to the rolling hills of Kentucky. They moved halfway across the country in order to offer their daughters a different type of life. Jessica’s parents poured every dollar they had into opening a small Italian restaurant in Burlington, Kentucky named Vianna Pizza. Jessica watched them work as hard as two people could work to support their family. This instilled a great sense of entrepreneurship and work ethic in Jessica.

1997

Jessica was blessed with a little brother, Tony.  Her parents sold their family business to focus on other careers and she moved to Erlanger at age 12. Growing up in a quiet cul-de-sac in Woodlyn Hills was idyllic. Jessica spent countless hours with her neighbors who have become lifelong friends. One neighbor in particular stood out among the rest and he was Jim Fette.

2003

Jessica graduated from Dixie Heights High School and was awarded the first City of Erlanger Scholarship Award.  She received the key to the city and a “Jessica LaCorte Day” in her honor from Mayor Marc Otto and Councilmembers Patty Suedkamp and Vicki Kyle.

2007

Jessica started college with intent of being a high school Spanish teacher but quickly fell in love with Economics and the financial industry. She attended Northern Kentucky University and earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration. During and after college, she worked at a local financial institution where she learned a great deal about fiscal responsibility and Kaizen, which is the philosophy of continuous change for the better.

2008

Jessica married her neighborhood sweetheart, Jim, at St. Henry Catholic Church. They bought their first home together on Timberlake Avenue in Erlanger. Jessica continued her career in project management. In 2009, Jim and Jessica welcomed their first child into the world, Grace. They loved being parents so much that in 2010, their second child was born, James Jr.

2011

With two young children, Jessica decided to stay home and use her skills to create a small business following in her parents’ entrepreneurial footsteps. She recognized the needs of many small business owners and created a company, Jace Solutions, around those opportunities. Jessica was able to look at their business and recognize the need for effectively communicating to clients and customers via email marketing and social media campaigns. These clients also had a tremendous amount of sales and performance data that were being underutilized.  She continually improved upon her processes, developing a method to provide meaningful, professional reports to clients on a regular basis.

2015

In 2015, the Fette Family was blessed with their third child, Max and quickly realized they were growing out of their house on Timberlake. Jim and Jessica decided to build a home and made sure they stayed in the only place they had truly called home, Erlanger. By the end of the year, they moved into their forever home. Jessica always had a passion for getting involved with her community which drove her to successfully run for Erlanger City Council in 2016.

As a Councilwoman for the City of Erlanger, Jessica was able to present the advantages of performing a cost-benefit analysis prior to any city initiated foreclosure and ultimately had the policy amended.

During her time on council, she has been able to bring positive change to the city she loves. She has worked hand in hand with the Fire and Police departments to establish a Police Social Services Coordinator within the Police Department. This is a program that Jessica brought to Erlanger with the assistance of a partnership with the Alexandria Police Department and NKU. This position will bridge the gap between citizens in need of social services and the multitude of community resources that exist. Jessica has championed other efforts within the city such as a City Hiring Event and a Heroin Town Hall, both in an effort to provide the citizens she represents with as much support as possible.

Jessica is running to reignite a culture of compassion, respect, and cooperation within the city of Erlanger. Jessica wants to empower citizens, business owners and city employees to share their ideas. Erlanger deserves real ideas and real solutions to keep us moving in the right direction and to continue to improve the quality of life for everyone who is touched by our community.
