Current Councilwoman Jessica Fette will formally announce her candidacy for Mayor of Erlanger at 1:00pm, Sunday, January 28, 2018 at her residence at 815 Lakerun Lane, Erlanger KY.
Jessica is an energetic City Council member who is committed to creating a clear vision for Erlanger’s future. Jessica will strive to increase property values and quality of life for each and every citizen and business owner. She will conduct herself in a manner that is honest, transparent and respectful.
Jessica has been a resident of Erlanger for 20 years. She grew up in Woodlyn Hills and attended Dixie Heights High School. She went on to graduate from Northern Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Business Administration.
Jessica married her neighborhood sweetheart Jim Fette in 2008 and bought their first home together on Timberlake Avenue in 2009. Together they brought three beautiful children into the world, Grace, James and Max. In 2015, their family built a new house within the Lakemont Community. Jessica is a member of St. Barbara Parish and an active parent volunteer for St. Henry Elementary.
Jessica has 10 years of reporting, analysis and client/project management experience and has been a part of multiple transformational projects for the companies that she has worked for in the past as well as her own small business. As a councilwoman, Jessica was able to present the advantages of performing a cost-benefit analysis prior to any city initiated foreclosure and ultimately had the policy amended moving forward.
During her time on council, she has been able to bring positive change to the city she loves. She has worked hand in hand with the Fire and Police departments to establish a Police Social Services Coordinator within the Police Department. This is a program that Jessica brought to Erlanger with the assistance of a partnership with the Alexandria Police Department and NKU. This position will bridge the gap between citizens in need of social services and the multitude of community resources that exist. Jessica has championed other efforts within the city such as a City Hiring Event and a Heroin Town Hall, both in an effort to provide the citizens she represents with as much support as possible.
Jessica is running to reignite a culture of compassion, respect, and cooperation within the city of Erlanger. Jessica wants to empower citizens, business owners and city employees to share their ideas. Erlanger deserves real ideas and real solutions to keep us moving in the right direction and to continue to improve the quality of life for everyone that is touched by our community.
The public is cordially invited to help us kick off this exciting campaign on Sunday, January 28th, 2018 at 1:00pm. Please direct all inquiries to Jessica Fette at (859) 878- 2309.
